Exynos SOC
三星在ＳＯＣ領域一直想要獨當一面, 有兩個很大的瓶頸
最大的就是 LTE
在S3 的時候就在北美想要用EXYNOS ,為甚麼最後是用snapdragon s4, 主要就是exynos 的晶片無法像QUALCOMM 有 intgerated LTE
每年當qualcomm 推出晶片（s4, 今年的s600/s800), 他過幾個月後才會推出她單獨的Qualcomm baseband chip（讓他家搭配）
三星跟apple 的自家晶片(exynos, A5/A5x) LTE部分 都是要靠這個Qualcomm baseband chip 搭配.
為甚麼apple 不會有供應問題， 因為它Iphone產品幾乎都是秋天推出
但是qualcomm 都是年初出新晶片， 而三星前半年都會推Ｓ系列（為了迎接HTC), 下半年則是note 系列）
所以台灣跟部分沒有LTE 的國家主要都是搭配exynos octa
美國就沒有辦法了
這個跟之前網站上說甚麼出貨量等， 都是比較符合邏輯. 可憐的台灣， 甚麼科技島還在3G, 跟非洲一樣
那我們再來聊exynos 這個系列晶片
它的定位絕對是要跟qualcomm 平起平坐， 效能也非常不錯
可惜2012，samsung 的 exynos5 效能數據都跟s4 差不多 的缺點就是LTE,跟耗電量.
再來就是最近的octa
octa 是使用big.LITTLE， 也是三星2013 的王牌， 可惜目前看起來像＂亡牌＂
除了LTE 無法使用， 他在big.little 3個主要模式只能使用一個
無論core-migration 或是 heterogeneous multi-processing (HMP) 都無法使用， 這樣省電跟效能都 大大減少， 所以lte 版本的s600 比 octa 還要省電
唯一能用的cluster-migration
要是samsung 能夠完全發揮big.little 的功能， 他的發熱跟耗電會比現在好太多
也有可能完全扒掉qualcomm s600/s800
但是目前看起來octa 是samsung算失敗的作品.
只可惜硬體部分還有很多進步空間, 但是2013三星想要稱霸手機soc 目前看來失敗, 連note3 都直接先用s800 (除非幾個月內改變octa 的缺陷, 完全發揮big.little的潛力, 但是這個以我的經驗(大學是學IC設計) 是不可能, 除非全re-design)
當然octa 也有他成功的地方(跑分很不錯,耗電在眾多機皇內one/z 完全不遜色)
這就是趕鴨子上架的結果
接下來看看2014 samsung 下一步怎麼走, 不再自做SOC, 還是從新設計(成本超高)

Fortunately for Samsung, its LTE connectivity issues can be resolved in the same manner. 我知道octa手機有lte,
自家的LTE chip 不穩
所以美國版本一定先用有integrated lte s600等
