像登山常遇到雨中行進一整天，長時間淋雨後軟殼表布較風雨衣表布更容易潮濕，
就算水沒滲進裡層，衣服還是會變重，掛在身上並不舒服，
所以如果要極限使用，還是買件專用風雨衣會比較好。
不過，如果是一般狀況使用，防水軟殼檔中小雨一小時還沒問題，旅行時有測試過，
但不管是風雨衣還是軟殼，再頂級的廠牌也需要正確的清潔保養，請記得善待他，
適當地清洗，至少一年補一次防撥水，才不會雨打表層就濕。
至於防撥水的維持度，跟廠牌也有不小關連，頂級廠防撥水的壽命較長也比較持久，也不需要頻繁補防潑水，
像我的Arc'teryx Venta SV，買了第二年才需要補防潑水，第一年清洗後竟然防潑水劑還噴不太上去，給我華麗地沿衣服流下來=_=
