A few of us experienced the same issues last night. A combination of the stock kernel/recovery and root injected system will give u a working pen and touch but the problem two of us are having is S-Note force closing. I was not able to re-kies the update I guess I will look over your steps again, some of them are un-unnecessary.
Alright (For N8013) who have lost pen/touch:
1. Wipe data/cache via stock recovery/kernel flashed in ODIN: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...9&postcount=45

3. Re-kies to new firmware via WINDOWS
