As a VW car owner, it's been more than 2 years reading from some critical internet forums in Taiwan which were saying there are defects on DSG transmission. We also know there are recall event or warranty extension in Europe/ US. However, in Taiwan we have no one taking care of us, car owners. There are no reaction to this problem which can cause a safety issue in Taiwan. If the defect of DSG is true, then why dealer doesn't inform us? If this is just rumor, then why agency (Taikoo) in Taiwan never take actions to clean it? To be aggressive, they can sue people who deliver rumors, or at least they can send each car owners a letter to give us more confidence to this lovely brand. They(Taikoo) know people are talking about them, but they just don't care about it, why? I don't know who can we give this feedback to but I do hope someone can take care of this. This is not just personal opinion. I know Taiwan is a small market, so you must know once people talking about this problem, other will know very soon, and everyone will think of the DSG problem when they see "Volkswagen".
