The Saab 9-4X has entered production, further fuelling speculation that the Swedish car maker will be sold by parent company GM.
Figures produced by Automotive News show that 147 Saab 9-4X crossovers have been built at GM's Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico, with 49 being built last week.
This is despite GM not yet confirming the Saab 9-4X will be sold, and officially continuing the winding down process of Saab. Reports suggest the cars are being built as pre-production test mules, which suggests GM sees a future for Saab.
The 9-4X is based on the same underpinnings as the Cadillac SRX crossover.
Similar in size to a Volvo XC90, though it’s expected to be strict five-seater, the 9-4X is based on GM's Theta chassis and will get all-wheel drive.
Rumours of Saab's imminent sale to Spyker are continuing, with the latest reports suggesting GM could make an announcement today (Tuesday).
9-4X已經被製造,但似乎只是測試用途
看來又有一線希望了
GY還是要把Saab賣給Spyker吧
Saab加油囉!
