Saab owner, National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS), says it is aiming to finalise negotiations "in the next few weeks" with around ten suppliers as it looks to tie up its component plans.

"We have a number [suppliers] - ten or so where we are still negotiating - we need to finalise those negotiations in the next few weeks," said NEVS vice president purchasing, Per Svantesson, at last week's FKG Annual Suppliers Forum in Gothenburg, hinting at a slightly more precise date for a 9-3 restart.

Svantesson insisted "one of the biggest component producers in Europe" had recently visited to discuss payment conditions and having gone "through our accounts," had declared NEVS a credit-worthy company.
