The depot inspection interval for the F119 modules is 4325 TCY cycles, which is approximately 2000 hours, depending on how the engine is operated. Actually, the TCY cycle calculation is now obsolete, being replaced by a Life Limit cycle that is calculated for each tracked part based on a real time tracking of the actual use and damage accumulation for the part, called Usage Based Lifeing (UBL). Some parts get longer life, others may be shorted depending on the environment and the pilot specific usage. But it is expected to extend the life of the average module.
The F119 was designed for the Hot Section components to have at least a 4325 TCY life, with the cold section having a 8650 TCY life and a 4325 TCY inspection. Many of the components have much longer life, but more will be replaced at the 8650 depot visit than the first inspection at 4325.
My guess is that the software update will allow the engine to run slightly higher airflow (I.e. turn faster) in the colder parts of the flight envelope where it isn’t running to its rotor speed and temp limits. This will increase thrust a small percentage in the heart of the envelope, which could translate into higher thrust in the 40k, 1.2M area (45F inlet temp) but not at the high end of the supercruise range (100F+). This would not improve SFC, except if the increase is enough to avoid using AB in certain circumstances.

可惡啊 美國人沒有武德 F119的最大推力竟是40000磅 不是說好的35000+嗎?

結論 WS-15的翻修時距倘若跟F119相當 雙方比推重比會比較有意思
WS-15的最新構型如果真能夠追上2006年服役的F119發動機那就很了不起
如果能夠超越那就更棒了 不過沒有人承認 也沒有打過擂台 都是羅生門
