升級未包括換引擎F-16V機上搭載AESA雷達，號稱是國際首架能對抗匿蹤戰機的F-16。平可夫表示，美方這款雷達設計雖是售給阿拉伯聯合大公國F-16戰機雷達的簡化版，但衡量兩岸局勢，美方還是會售台功能優異的雷達系統。
平可夫直指，國軍這次F-16升級並不包括引擎更換，若以F-16現有引擎F100-PW-220看，後燃器推力1萬782公斤，相較之下，殲-10A與殲-10B所使用引擎AL-31FN的後燃器推力就有1萬2500公斤，優於F-16現有引擎。若再比較殲-20，國軍F-16遠遠落後於殲-20雙引擎後燃器推力高達2萬5000公斤。

台灣的F-16當時是新機/新發動機220, 根本就不是220E(又不是舊發動機改裝),
你一直無視事實跳針,還辯稱升級F-16不如造步槍跟單兵飛彈的邏輯,真的是......

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $1.2 billion contract to upgrade F-16 aircraft for the Republic of Korea.
Work is expected to be complete by Nov. 15, 2025. This contract is 100 percent foreign military sales to the Republic of Korea, the US department of defense said in a release Saturday.
This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
The project, which was originally contracted to BAE Systems in 2012, was put on hold after the company sought additional funds.
South Korea has also replaced Raytheon with Northrop Grumman to supply active electronically scanned radar (AESA) for the fighter jet.
