Free agent guard Klay Thompson has agreed on a three-year, $50 million contract with the Dallas Mavericks, ending his historic 13-year run with the four-time champion Golden State Warriors, sources told ESPN on Monday.

心情異常的複雜，一方面不希望 Klay 離開的，一方面又希望三俠能夠再一次挑戰總冠軍。
Klay Thompson 的油箱還有多少油？ 這一點，應該是 Luka Doncic 最關心的。繼球隊幫他找來 Kyrie Irving 後，Thompson 應該是真正的第二個大咖。
獨行俠的禁區門戶，算是有 Dereck Lively II 和 Daniel Gafford 守著，在新一季，一個是菜鳥，另一個是半季轉來，新一季應該是會更融入團隊。
前鋒也來了新成員 Naji Marshall，是名爛帳王，功能上不是很有專長，但什麼都會一點，算是隨上即用的類型的。沒有意外，他會是 Klay Thompson 的頭號替補。
P.J. Washington 在季後賽的前三輪表現，真的好猛，可惜，沒能延續至總冠軍賽。同樣的，傷癒後歸隊的 Maxi Kleber 也是後繼無力。期望兩人能持續旺盛的外線火力。

The Dallas Mavericks added some depth on the court this offseason — Klay Thompson, Naji Marshall — but for leadership and vibes in the locker room, they turned to someone they know and trust.

過去的幾季，獨行俠一直在幫 Doncic 找射手，從 W. Matthews、 T. Hardaway Jr.，再到 R. Bullock Jr.、S. Dinwiddie，這次，不只 Kyrie Irving，還多一個 Klay Thompson。
在隊形上，Klay 是能防的，問題就是他老了。Kyrie 也是能防守的，但他力有未逮。一哥 Luka Doncic 願不願意防守，誰知道？
因此，我大擔的預測，Dereck Lively II 早則訓練營就取代 Daniel Gafford 先發，晚一點，則是等到開季球隊撞牆之後。
Lively 的優異追防與搶籃板的能力，可以幫三巨頭很多忙。
其次，無 Luka 的調度絕對是必須要，最重要的人物是 Kyrie。Kyrie 去帶僞先發的 PJ Washington 與 Daniel Gafford，我覺得是較適合的組合。這三位球員，也需要足夠的出手，不能只是配合 Luka 跑來跑去的。
Naji Marshall 是個爛杖王，但他撐不起第六人，不過，他比較不需要戰術，反正就是投，反而，會比較適合某一段時間跟 Luka 搭。
老將的價值、主將的超能力、板凳深度、菜鳥的競爭動力，教練團的運作，肯撒幣的老闆，獨行俠能走多遠？

嚴格來說，Jazian Gortman 並不是今年的菜鳥，他是去年落選的球員，甚至，他也沒念大學，而是高中畢業後去 OvertimeElite 聯盟磨了一年，才參加選秀。
他就是去年雙胞胎兄弟 Amen 和Ausar Thompson 的隊友。
後來，Jazian Gortman 落選，加入公鹿隊的發展聯盟球隊 Wisconsin Herd，之後，被交易到波特蘭的 Rip City Remix。
在今夏，Gortman 以自由球員的身份加入獨行俠，在夏季聯盟時也有出賽。如今，Gortman 在熱身賽的首場，憑藉著火燙的手感，13 投 7 中，拿到了 20 分，並傳了 3 次助攻，抄了 4 球。
