Stein, appearing on SportsCenter, says the Lakers make a lot of sense for Lin, since he’s a quality player to play this season and wouldn’t impact the Lakers’ chances at superstars next summer.
The Rockets would likely attach a pick to any potential Lin deal. Mark Berman (MyFox26) has confirmed the talks are happening.
Stein mentioned earlier on SportsCenter that the Philadelphia 76′ers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Utah Jazz are also potential fits for Lin, and specifically said the Bucks owners are “big fans” of Lin.
