The Clippers have traded Josh Smith to the Houston Rockets. In exchange, the Rockets will send the rights to several foreign players and cash to the Clippers. Smith fell out of the rotation in Los Angeles, but he does have a path to minutes in Houston due to injuries to Donatas Motiejunas (back) and Dwight Howard (ankle). Additionally, this could also impact Terrence Jones' role in Houston. Smith can be very inefficient at times and doesn't have a great ceiling in standard leagues, so most owners can use a wait-and-see approach here. In 55 appearances for the Rockets last season, Smith averaged 12.0 points, 6.0 boards, 2.6 assists, 1.2 blocks, 0.9 steals and 1.1 3-pointers on 43.8 percent shooting from the field.
