I have driven Prius for more than 1 year, mileage is over 8000 miles. The regular maintenance
was oil change for two times and tire rotation.
The main battery was designed for the whole car life, you don't need to worry about it.
People talked about the failure of battery, because they even may not know there are two
batteries in Prius. There are more than 13 computer chips to control Prius. The main battery (201V
NiMH) is carefully controlled by computer for the charge and discharge between 40~80% of battery capacity as well as its temperature (electrical fan for battery). That is No deep cycles of battery charge and discharge. And according to the national lab test and actual road test, the battery would last for the whole car life.

小弟不太認同你的想法 這台車好壞我把他併除在外
環保 就算你把地上一個塑膠罐 撿到資源回收區 或是你不做水資源的浪費
你也算是盡了一份心 因為這是我們能做到的 也是只能做到這邊 畢竟我們不是產業老闆或是政府
雖然算是過渡期的產品 頭又大車廠他的確也盡了一份心
地球已經快被我們毀滅了 4月份寒流跟颱風居然一起出現 更大的異變 我相信我們這年代的一定
都看的到 不過也怨不了誰啦.......阿就人類造成的
PS 原則上 我應該一輩子都不會選頭又大的國產車吧........Prius是進口我知道
