新竹市的美, 是需要細細品嚐體會的!
竹蜻蜓成立一週年, 舉辦了數以百計的單車活動, 翱翔台灣各地, 車友急速增加, 卻總覺得缺了點什麼….
那天一同騎車時威廉說著: 竹蜻蜓的輪跡踏遍了新竹的大街小巷, 並拓展到台灣各地, 獨樂樂不如眾樂樂, 為什麼不邀請各地的01車友到新竹來, 與我們一起分享新竹的美景與豐富的人文環境, 特別是設備完善的十七公里單車道？
於是大家開始動了起來, 聯絡結盟車隊, 安排路線, 甚至與市政府觀光局洽談, 得到林市長接見支持, 為此市長還特別安排記者會推廣我們的活動!

台南, 高雄, 台北各車隊接受了威廉的邀約, 將會師時間定在 6/22！
活動前一兩週, 竹蜻蜓進入緊鑼密鼓的籌備階段, 大家熱烈討論路線, 景點, 交管, 用餐, 緊急事件處理等等的事項…
同時前一晚, 所有熱心車友集合到交大, 開始分配工作, 提供活動所需的配備, 並且享用威廉DIY的吐司…
可以看到大家都累翻了, 小查直接打呼睡著~

大會師的日子終於來臨,
所有竹蜻蜓義工們一大清早都朝氣蓬勃地來到市政府集合,
60人的義工團自動自發完成工作分配, 看似簡單, 其實繁複…
第一次主辦這麼大型的活動,
