[消息"修正"]3GS-3.1版韌體已經jailbreak成功(限定某些條件下)

iPhone 3GS Firmware 3.1 Jailbreak Successful 1 OCTOBER 2009 BY VINAY

Finally a good news for those who are waiting for jailbreak their 3GS with firmware 3.1, cpich3g tweeted this a little while ago “3gs 3.0 pwned->3.1 pwned. Props to Musclenerd, Wizdaz and thanks Bumble-Bee & ToddJG for testing” cpich3g also posted the screenshots of his jailbreaked iPhone 3GS with firmware 3.1 cpich3g is the team member of official iPhone Dev team and you can follow him on twitter. The following screenshot is from the latest tweet of cpich3g, where he declares the success with proof of 3GS 3.1 jailbreak.



Here is the proof, the version of firmware is 3.1 (7C144) and the baseband is 04.26.08 no doubt it’s achieved by pwnage tool. This means that the exploit worked and that the new Pwnage Tool will soon be able to run the 3GS Jailbreak iPhone with firmware 3.1. So we can expect a new update for pwnage tool this (may be) weekend. Keep watching this space we’ll update this post as we got any new information. Q & A for iPhone 3GS Jailbreaking Unlocking :

1. I Saved the ECID signature on 3.0.1 : you can always go back, restore the same firmware and run the jailbreak on this

2. I Didn’t Saved the ECID signature on 3.0.1 : You must remain with the 3.0.1 update without until it is released on the 3.1 Jailbreak

3. I updated to 3.1 but has saved the ECID via Cydia : You can go back to 3.0 and run the Jailbreak any time. To downgrade follow our guide for Downgrading iPhone 3GS from 3.1 to 3.0 with Cydia SHSH.However you aren’t eligible for Ultrasn0w anymore because your baseband is updated..

4. I updated to 3.1 but didn’t saved the ECID via Cydia : Sorry to say but you can not do anything without Jailbreak and must remain locked until the release of the new tool with the exploits of Chronic Dev Team.

He recently updated his twitter to say that 3Gs devices that come shipped with the 3.1 OS and 3Gs devices that are not able to downgrade can't be unlocked at this time.
