I am in the automobile parts manufacturing business, I have been to Europe, American, Japanese, and Korea automobile factories, and also, Chinese automobile factories as well. China is still far behind. They will get better for sure, but as good as those companies that you talked about? Not a chance in seven years.
As for comparing to Taiwan? Taiwan assembled cars is better than China so far. In fact, when I was visiting Korea Hyundai with Yulon VP, he thinks Yulon cars was better put together than Hyundai. Of course, Hyundai is a global company and Yulon is not, but that's another story....

如果說光模仿就可以達到與1A2B抑或是Lexus等高級轎車的層級,那就太小看汽車工業的悠久歷史了。
況且中國車廠投入汽車產業也好幾年了,如果真如"模仿"那麼簡單,怎麼會搞出撞擊測試還是半顆星、一顆星的慘劇呢?而且各家引擎都是有獨門的設計,經過歲月累積的機械工藝,除了把整間公司買下來直接承襲所有資產,不然要做出像Mercedes or BMW精緻的引擎,可能也只能慢慢熬了,君不見許多沒有能力造出引擎的車商還是得乖乖花錢向其他車廠買來裝...

中國車廠我想或許超越台灣指日可待,但是要追趕上1A2B,真的不是只有花錢能辦的到的。
前面有網友提到內需市場,我想內需市場的確是一個大國擁有的最佳市場條件,就像Apple擁有美國這全世界消費力最高的國民當後盾,即使不做外銷還是可以賺得口袋飽飽!
但是相較於消費性電子產品來講,汽車的單價比一隻手機或是MP3 player高上許多,即使中國車廠推出了低單價車款,以中國人民的消費能力來說,要以七年內的時間用來撐起所謂的內需市場並間接提升車廠造車技術進而達到1A2B的層級,機率應該小於六個標準差了~~
雖不無可能,但是機率小到比我明天就中樂透的機會還低...
