關於防塵防滴的程度(Nikon 的解答)

因為小弟常帶著DSLR(D200)上山下海,所以對相機的防水程度有些擔心
話說他跟我的背包一起掉到河裡過.....還好有浮起來
前一陣子寫信問了Nikon(此為Nikon USA因為不會日文.....話說英文也不是很好)

問: 請問D200有多防水&有哪些鏡頭是防水的? (已改為中文)

答: The D200 (and our lenses) are not "waterproof" at all. We design the products with special seals and other protection to help protect from some moisture (mist, drips, very light rain) but care should be taken to prevent serious water from reaching the camera. The higher end cameras (D200 and D2-series) provide more protection than the consumer level D80 and D40-series.

問: By the way, you mean that once "any" Nikon lens is attach to the camera body(in this case Nikon D200), the camera system can resist mist, drips, and very light rain?

I would also like to ask that what is your definition of "very light rain".

答: Some lenses, generally the more expensive, f2.8 lenses, have additional rubber seals to protect them, but any of the lenses can withstand some exposure. We don't publish a specification for "light rain". If you have any concerns about your usage I'd suggest the higher end products (D2 or D3 cameras) as they have the most protection. With any products, however, you should use your best judgment and try to protect the camera (any camera) as much as possible.

結論是高階機身和有橡皮圈的高階鏡頭能些微擋一下

Nikon 等於是說越貴的產品越防水,但也沒說防水到啥程度(very light rain.....)
有說等於沒說..

這....基本上還是沒有回答到
