Just letting all know that my solar prius phev is a DIY mixture of toyota Gen2 from Japan, 264w solar cells from Australia and it's controller from China, 4.2KW lithium battery from China, BMS and other accessories from USA, all other connectors and cell balancing resistance from local Taiwan, the lately cooling kits from my retired computers and yahoo bid.
The pure city drive (<48 km/hr, with EV mode) indeed is 0 L/100km but the MFD initially shows 99.99L/100km and it would be corrected if I re-start the car.
The default pure EV velocity limit is 48 km/hr for Gen2. But in real driving it can be up to 60~70 km/hr without ICE turning if the SOC >66.5% or so (MFD is green bars)

The charging cost is 8.4KWH in this trip. With my home PV cells, it takes 2-3 days during shining summer. With my prius solar cells, it takes 4~5 days. With home 120AC, it takes 8 hr to charge to full.

上述行程約1.5個充電循環 ( from depleted to full ),
充電時間有許多因子影響, ex 在25 degC 又充分做好各別lithium battery bottom balance 時有最大充電容量4.85KWH, 也能最長充電時間, 以110V AC充電2hr可達SOC80%,充4-5hr達SOC 100%, 若以220V充,則時間約減半
通常先在夜晚充電,EV約可開32km,夏天solar charge約1hr多EV 1km, 達目的地,有機會再充,可惜台灣無自費充電站
有關充電費用8.4度 請自行計算吧!
