各位先進 小的將seagate送修 收到一封看不太懂的回信

小弟於99.06.27 將1顆3500320AS 送修。今天收到了這封信件,實在是有看沒有懂,懇請各位先進解惑、解

釋。倒底SEAGATE要我作什麼呢? 謝謝

PS:這顆硬碟之前已經送修回來一次,六月的某天BIOS裡又找不到這顆硬碟了,換台還是抓不到,所以又送回去

了。

原文內容如下:

This document details the RMA as received. If there are any differences from the Order Acknowledgement, please amend your records accordingly.

If your Return Acknowledgement above shows the Total Return Unrepaired Quantity (RUR) greater than 0, then we have determined that your RMA includes products that are not covered by Seagate's warranty and Seagate has no obligation to replace these products. Your warranty claim for these products has therefore been rejected as invalid.

The aforementioned product(s) will be Returned to you Un-Repaired. Please be advised that you must pay all applicable duties and customs charges for shipments to and from Seagate. You may also be required to pay freight costs associated with returning the product(s) to you.

大意是說您送去的HD不在保固範圍內

否則會被丟掉
是的 還在保固期內 !

判定人為? 總該有原因吧!! 而且這個跟另一顆H牌同時買的,同樣的的使用環境,第一次是作RAID0掛點後RMA,

送修回來不敢再作RAID,拆成2顆6槽用;直到我的檔案總管少了3個槽才拿出來,實在想不出來哪裡會有被判人為

的機會。

假如你的 未修復的數量 大於 0 的時候下面的說明才理它,不然應該是沒問題才是..

上面應該還有一些數量統計的表格吧?

看來這應該只是RMA系統流程中的一封例行性通知信! 主要目的應該是告知你維修體系已正式收到也因應RMA request了!
(並未標示有沒收到貨物, 只是確認有受理RMA也給你一個RMA#)

另外 與此大大同樣看法, 如果沒有其他資訊,可以先不用理這封例行性通知信!(但別殺了 要存好RMA #)

這個只是例行的通知,
seagate處理RMA的速度很快,
超乎小弟的預期,
前二年也送修過h牌的rma一次,
感覺就沒那麼快...

小弟的硬碟送修時程如下︰

6/26 到聯強送修,告知已超過一年,要送修要500大洋,
心想真是搶錢,自已送修才80元不到,你送要500元,
當場就拒絕送修,這三年保固根本是空話,決定自已送修!

6/27 上網申請RMA

6/28 到郵局交寄的桃園的UPS,結果用郵局的小型便利箱,55元

6/30 早上收到SEAGATE的信,告知已收到了送修品

7/02 UPS就把良品硬體送到家門口了...

從交寄到收到貨才五天的時間,
真是超乎我的預期,
這是的第二次送修這個硬碟了,
誰叫我買到有機溫的這批,
第一次是到聯強送修,
前後預估約二個星期,
扣掉新加坡seagate處理的一星期外,
這聯強內部處理的時間也約一星期...

以後如果要送修,還是自已送RMA吧,
速度快多了,而且看看seagate原廠送修回來的包裝,
還真是紮實呀...

當然啦,最好大家的硬碟都是健健康康的,不要送修是最好的啦!

我前幾天也寄了兩顆~~(一顆壞軌一顆磁區老化讀取不順)
昨天送到新加坡今天就收到了兩封內容跟樓主一樣的信件!!
該不會兩顆都拒保吧!!
我寄出前都包裝的相當仔細也不可能有任何人為損壞啊~~
