我想
電梯工程師可能是應用數學系的吧

[非KUSO]電梯裡地下一樓的按鈕是B1?錯!
在外面等電梯的人乍看到-1可能會以為賤鬼了吧

仔細想想我們學校的電梯好像也是這樣寫的
?!
話說小時候,我對於電梯按鈕很有意見,0 跑哪去了,你問我那 0 是哪一樓? 我怎麼知道,小孩子有耍笨的權利啊!

G 表大廳
1 表1F(大廳樓上)

上次去日本的時候發現,我住的那間飯店大廳好像是"L"喔!!

他的大廳在三樓耶,害我覺得更特別!!

This is the difference between British system and US system.

In British system, the street level is called as “Ground Floor”, or “G/F” the level above street level is called “1st Floor” or “1F”.
U.K. , Hong Kong, South Africa etc, use the U.K. system.

In the US system, the street level is called as “1st Floor”, (1F), the level above is called as “2nd Floor”, (2F).

US, Taiwan use this system.

所以G代表的應該是平地上的一樓啦!?
而並非指的是大廳囉!?
可能是恰巧他去的大廳剛好在一樓故有此解,

話說回來,還是1F系統好用!
In many hotels, the labels would be the actual things of that floor. Therefore you may see the lift labels looks like:

Coffee Shop
Business Center
Swimming Pool
Lobby

5 to 10 are levels with rooms.
