美國 IPHONE 4S 首發..可能沒有解鎖版!

小弟住在美國但是很不想買綁約版的IPHONE
想要換電信公司都不自由
所以IPHONE 4S發表之後,上了APPLE網站跟他們的服務人員詢問
10/7網路預購,10/14店頭發售
有沒有解鎖版..
根據他們的客服說法是,目前還沒有任何資訊有解鎖版.
三家美國電信商都有鎖碼
所以想買水貨的人,目前從美國購買解鎖版是沒有很大的希望了
鎖機板拿回台灣要馬上解鎖來用,可能會有困難
或許有人可以問問日本版,看看是不是解鎖版

You: If Answer is NO, do you know the ETA? If answer is yes, do you have a price?

You: huh I was on IPHONE 4S page

Margaret G: We don't have that information, sorry about that.

You: in that case..if you got ATT version, is it locked like it used to be?

Margaret G: We currently are offering only the iPhone 4 unlocked at this time.

You: cause i have 3GS and I experience drop calls and miss calls..I am thinking to go with unlocked version if i wannt to switch to another carrier in the future

Margaret G: What carrier do you have now?

You: AT&T

Margaret G: Ok cool.

Margaret G: You could get the iPhone 4 unlocked, then be able to switch the micro sim card with any other GSM network carrier.

You: not cool when it was full bar but suddenly the call was droped and it became no service

Margaret G: I'm sorry to hear that.

You: i know but compare iphone 4 and 4s..i don't think i would save some money and get iphone 4

You: so...DOES AT&T version 1phone 4s Locked like usual?

Margaret G: The iPhone 4S models are locked, yes.

You: how about Verizon and Sprint? Are thouse locked too?

Margaret G: Yes.

You: huh..okey than I have to wait

You: but still thank you for the information.

Margaret G: You bet!

You: a world phone without ability to use other carrier sim car when over sea is not so much of world phone..the roming charge is too high

Margaret G: That world part just means it works with both CDMA and GSM networks.

You: I know..still no freedom to choose which carrier we like when we are oversea

You: but it is okey..i can always wait for unlocked version

You: thankx..i got all my answered.
