I think my son didn't pay attention on the ride difference between his new Accord and G35S with PSS10...

Be honest... If you ask me the same question, I would say "YES!!!" (Of course!!!)

Just the difference is NOT MUCH!!! (That's why I was so surprised about those Uber Honda SUVs!!!)

PS: Currently, my son is a Stanford graduate engineering student...
Today my wife and I took a ride in my son's new Accord around some local streets again...

My wife also sat on front passenger seat, just like what she did in my GSF. Then, I asked my wife a question... "Which car provides more comfortable ride? Accord or GSF(Ohlins suspnesion)?" Guess what... She said "GSF!!!" (I also agree with her!!!)
Believe it or not... The AC in my daughter's 2010 M35X was recharged by AC Pro in spring 2017. Now, it's almost 2025. The AC is still strong even thought my daughter lives in LA(hotter) area now!!! (Knock on wood!!!)

Please be noted the pressure gauge in AC Pro may not work. Mine was completely NOT working!!! In the beginning, I overcharged the AC!!!(The AC compressor also stopped working!!!) So, I released some refrigerant. Then, I went to an local auto shop and borrowed a AC pressure gauge to make sure if the AC was not overcharged!!!

----------------------

I owned many cars in the past 30 years. I would like to conclude the AC performance in those cars...

1. 2007 G35S which had the strongest AC in my life and even better than my current 2017 GSF!!!)
2. 1992 Civic LX which had the worst AC in my life!!!
3. 1997 Primera which was built in UK and had the second worst AC in my life!!! (only better than that little Civic above!!!)

Now my wife drives my GSF most of the time...

Believe it or not... This summer my wife drove my son's 2007 G35S once and immediately asked me how come the AC in that almost 18 year and 150K mile old G35S was stronger than my almost 8 year and 55K mile old 2017 GSF???

Actually the AC in G35S is also stronger than 2010 M35X. I think Infiniti could put the same AC system in G35S as that in M35X. However, G35S is a SMALLER car. So, the G35S's cabin could be cooled down a bit faster!!!

Believe it or not... In 2007 when G35S was still very new, many G35S owners complained the AC compressor was a bit noisy??? (Both my wife and I never thought the AC compressor in G35S was noisy!!!)

Now, I think I fully understand why they complained about the AC system in 2007... Actually the AC system is not noisy but TOO POWERFUL!!! (I bet the AC compressors in BMWs are a bit smaller(weaker) and QUIETER!!! We don't buy BMWs... So, we don't think AC in G35S is noisy!!!)
Again, NOTHING is perfect...

But, I would rather more stronger and noisier ACs than weaker and quieter. Actually the AC in G35S is not noisy at all... Just a little noisier than those weak ACs in BMWs!!!
As my son's 2007 G35S was stolen and bought a new Accord about 3 months ago, now, my daughter wants to buy a new car which has better MPG!!! (I don't think a new hybrid car will save more money than her old M35X, as she doesn't drive her car a lot!!! Even now, my son still prefers keeping driving his old G35S to buying a new Accord!!!)

My daughter may return her 2010 M35X back to us!!! Now, we may have TOO MANY CARS... (Again, thank GOD! We didn't buy a new Q60 RS400 3 years ago!!!)

PS: These Japanese cars are SO RELIABLE that we may run into a situation like TOO MANY CARS!!!
Today my daughter drove my son's new Accord...

My daughter still cannot tell if my son's new Accord is better or worse than her current M35X. However, she thinks the sound system in new Accord is not good but she does love Apple Carplay in new Accord...
My daughter told me...

My daughter's boyfriend was 2014 Highlander and her boyfriend always drove his Highlander slowly and smoothly... (So, my daughter seldom got car sick in that Highlander!!!)

However, when her boyfriend drove her M35X, her boyfriend could began to overtake some slower cars!!!

PS: Actually both M35X and Highlander have 3.5 V6 engines and M35X is only 0.5-1 second faster in 0-60mph... (I think both cars were tuned by engineers VERY DIFFERENTLY!!!)
Actually my wife and I didn't give our children whatever they wanted...

We gave them A BUDGE which includes tuition, living cost, cars, etc. If they are over the budge, they have to earn extra money for themselves or make a student loan... (Thank GOD... Our children are quite promising... They don't need to make any student loan so far!!! )
Today my daughter drove my son's new Accord again...

This time my daughter found the brake from that new Accord was softer and weaker than her M35X!!! When we returned to our home, my daughter said she didn't want to drive that new Accord any more... I asked her why??? She said that new Accord was no fun!!! It's just good for commute...

So, I drove that new Accord back to our home. This time I tried that new Accord on highway...

When I tried to merge into a highway, I think that new Accord was faster than 2000 Maxima(222hp) and 2014 320i(180hp) but still slower than 2010 M35X(305hp)... (I think Accord's CVT is a bit more efficient than Maxima's 4AT!!!)

2000 Maxima GLE 222hp 3294lbs 4AT
2014 320i 180hp 3295lbs 8AT
2024 Accord hybrid 205hp 3477lbs CVT

I also did cornering several times for that Accord, I think the handling was not bad...

I think the most bothering thing for me for that Accord was the braking. Every time the driver hits the brake, that new Accord could introduce a lot of nosedive which could make passengers uncomfortable...

PS: Believe it or not... When I tested drove a new Accord in Taiwan in 2004, I also found the exactly same issue which was nosedive during braking!!! I also found some braking nosedive in 2019 ES300h in 2019. I think all those cars' suspensions should be softer...
