[請教]無線網卡連線 AP成功, 捉不到正確的 DHCP server 分配的 IP ??__ OK 了

我是先有 Bufallo 54Mbps無線網卡 WLI-CB-G54A CardBus , 前日才買 Bufallo WBR-G54... 想說同公司比較不會有打架的問題,最近 IQ 退化, 實在沒空 try & error...

G54 的 LAN Enable DHCP server
192.168.1.11 ( G54 ), netmask = 255.255.255.240
Wired connection OK, PC or NB DHCP client assigned OK !

NB ( ASUS S200 ) + WLI-CB 無線網卡 ---> AP OK, 訊號非常好..
(1) WEP key = 1,
(2) 其他 AP 設定 by default...
(3) wireless 上網時, wired lan disconnected ( ASUS S200 )

---> NB 連上後捉到的是 192.168.0.??? , 總之不是 DHCP server assigned

Bufallo website 說他的 client manager 會跟 win XP 的 zero configuration 打架, 擇一使用就好, 我把 client manager 拆了, but ... 還是一樣!

那你的SSID呢？WEP設定128/64有沒有設定錯誤呢？

Wifi 我我很外行. BR-G54 Airstation setup 有關 wireless security
1) broadcast SSID : enabled ( default )
2) Dataencryption : 採 WEP key ( 1 個 ) 128
在無線網卡 client 端輸入應該accepted, bcz online OK
3)IEEE802.1x EAP authenication : Do not authorize (defautl)

沒有解決, 一點新進展

1) WEP data encription DISABLED
( wireless ) DHCP server -- client OK !!
2) 打電話給 Buffalo , 工程師為客氣, 但要我 install 他們的 client manager 試試..

目前還是無解 :(

在 PCZONE 上查到有 user 和我類似的困擾：
訊號都收的到，但是不知為啥一直抓不到ip
看得到的建議居然只剩：把 Buffalo G54 當 AP 用＿DHCP server 關掉

BTW, PCzone 一直無法註冊，雖不見得與＄有關，還是認真想想：好站也須要 user 實體維護灌溉．以後要多看看０１的勸敗版

簡單給您幾個測試的建議
1. 使用微軟內建的Zero Config, 最好是連原廠附的那套監控軟體都別灌, 移除原本安裝的Driver及工具後再只安裝硬體Driver
2. 關閉所有WEP
3. 關閉所有DHCP Server and Client
4. 分享器只開NAT 並將NB這端的IP手動設定好
5. 最好在有線端也將依台電腦先設成同一網段互Ping測試
這樣去試試看

PS 如果老是抓到不是你DHCP設定的 IP位址有可能是同一LAN中有另一個DHCP Server

４月時先買了無線網卡,什麼都不懂就連 client manager 都灌, 在 CKS 中正機埸無線上網非常順, 別的地方也沒用過.
就是因為懂得不多又沒時間，這回要敗 AP/Router 才二話不說買了 G54, 且為單純, 只有 Buffalo 這一台 ( PCI IPshare 拆了 )

ADSL --- [G54] --------- WS1 ( wired ), ASUS_S200( wired / wireless )

S200 wireless DHCP failed 以後, 我把網路再 --->
1) uninstall 任何 client manager, 由 Win XP 管
____ but [Buffalo wireless etc.. (忘了)] 還是存在.
2) ADSL --- [G54] ---- S200 ( wired ) : ｏｋ
3) ADSL -- [G54] --- S200 ( wireless )
3.a) WEP disabled : ｏｋ
3.b) WEP enabled :

!#!$#!$

難道．．．要把 G54 WEP wireless security 廢了 ?

WEP有四組Key...
其實我並沒有很了解他這四組Key的運作方式
但四組Key兩邊最好設得一模一樣
我以前曾經試過不這樣還真的怪怪的到現在還不知道原因(因為WEP開了會變慢我也懶得開了)
了解的人可以幫我補充一下

Oh.. 我也只是看看線上的說明.
Client / AP 兩邊的加密/解密金鑰當然要一樣, 而且還要 "組數相同", "相對位置一樣"..如果 AP 設了兩套 WEP keys (1)= xxxxxxxxxxxxx (2)=yyyyyyyyyyyyy 那 Client 也要有兩組同相對位置, same keys..

WEP key

When an encryption standard is implemented into a wireless network, a WEP key is used between the client and access point to successfully encrypt, transmit and decrypt data. For this reason, the same WEP key must be used for communication by the client and the access point with which it is attempting to establish a connection session.

An access point and client may both carry multiple WEP keys. It is necessary for not only the WEP keys to match, but also the WEP key's location or number. If a wireless client can not support multiple WEP keys, the AirStation's must be configured to transmit key number 1 for a connection to take place.
