apple的產品一率是全球保固, 只要有"開賣的地方", 產品在保固內皆可送修. apple care也是不管在哪買都一樣的, 不限地區效力同等.
這年頭,說話沒資料佐證,只出一張嘴的人實在太多。
早期Apple產品會在Warranty中明確說明何者有全球保固,例如先前Apple針對portable product提供全球保固,因此Macbook和iPod的確是有明文全球保固,但iMac就沒有。但近來Apple修改各產品的Warranty Terms and Conditions,並未明確指出何者可享有全球保固,必須要參照其他的說明文件才能比較清楚,例如在不含iPad, iPod和iPhone的Hardware Warranty中,Apple提到"Please refer to the accompanying documentation for more details on this and other matters on obtaining warranty service."
Apple Harware Warranty和iPad Warranty雖共同有「You may be responsible for shipping and handling charges if the product cannot be serviced in the country in which service is requested. If you seek service in a country that is not the country of purchase, you will comply with all applicable export laws and regulations and be responsible for all custom duties, V.A.T. and other associated taxes and charges. For international service, Apple may repair or exchange defective products and parts with comparable products and parts that comply with local standards. In accordance with applicable law, Apple may require that you furnish proof of purchase details and/or comply with registration requirements before receiving warranty service.」之字句,但在iPad Warranty中有提到「Apple may restrict service to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the hardware product.」,然而Hardware Warranty並無此句限制(但注意Apple是用"may restrict",這是為什麼我沒有完全否定有可以維修之可能性的原因)。
