在今日發表會中(Galaxy Unpacked August 2020)提到，在開發新產品時，為了確保硬體和軟體級別的安全性，承諾會獲得多達三代的OS更新，大多數設備至少可獲得長達三年的安全更新，如果三星能獲得多一代OS的更新，相信該手機用戶可以保留手機更長的時間。

●三星的最新手機Galaxy S20和Note 20系列將更新到Android 13。
●該過程將從Galaxy S10開始，以確保2019年的型號使用Android 12。
●GalaxyS10（Android 9）或更高版本的旗艦機型支持更新。
●功能和安全更新的可用性可能因設備和國家/地區而異。
