所以，很多疑英派以之為鐵證，認為蔡英文補發了兩次證書，一定是偽造。
我一直對這一點有些疑惑：那要是有人就是把補發證書又給搞丟了，難道LSE永遠不再補發證書給他，讓他永遠無法證明自己是LSE校友嗎？
於是，我發了email到researchdegrees@lse.ac.uk去請教LSE，LSE PhD Academy回了兩封信。
底下我貼出我第二封信，裡面有比較詳細具體的狀況模擬，LSE也就我這個具體的狀況回了比較具體的第二封。

If an alumnus applied and got a replacement diploma after having lost his original diploma and gave it out for a job application, but he did not get it back thereafter, could he apply another replacement copy?

If you had submitted your degree certificate in as part of an application process, we would expect you to ask for it back afterwards. If the employer had lost it, you could then potentially request a replacement but you would have to provide some sort of proof that the certificate had been lost. The replacement form needs to be signed by a magistrate or commissioner of oaths and you are required to state the reason a new one is being requested.
