Jeremy Lin is finalizing a buyout with the Hawks and is expected to sign with the Raptors.
The Raptors are looking to make a deep run this postseason and it made sense to acquire another guard with Kyle Lowry battling a bad back. Lin and Fred VanVleet should each have a solid role with the second unit, but they won't offer much upside in standard fantasy leagues apart from the games in which Lowry and Kawhi Leonard rest. As for Atlanta, Lin's departure could open the door for two-way guard Jaylen Adams to make an impression on the coaching staff.
